The Intern will work closely with the Executive Trustee and the Chairperson to: design and organize events, workshops and event related resources and materials to promote the ashram and its activities. Additionally, the Intern will represent the organization at various spaces as needed; to further expand t he awareness of the organization’s mission. This position is also responsible for the improvement and promotion of current activities and the development and implementation of new workshops/events based on the needs and requirements of the community.

This position will further lend itself to the development of marketing material. This position requires an ability to work well with a variety of tasks at the ashram and in the city. It will involve working with a variety of individuals, as well as volunteers, to create, promote and manage ashram related initiatives and activities.

Additional requirements include strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
