Summers are warm, monsoons can get very chilly at night ad winters are moderately cold. Monsoons are very heavy at the ashram and clothes and belongings can get musty.
The ashram can be reached by a personal vehicle or public transport.
Yes it is. However the last few kilometers are slightly bumpy.

The instructors are normally from the Kaivalyadham school in Lonavla or the Ghantali Mitra Mandal in Thane (Mumbai).

Village Telbaila has seasonal agriculture. At other times the people work as unskilled labourers for building construction sites in Lonavla & Amby valley.
Yes. Village Telbaila (2 kms) & village Bhamburde (4kms) are close to the ashram.
Swami Shri Harish Madhukar did not believe in caste, creed or organized religion; but he was an ardent devotee of The Goddess. Modes of worship pertaining to Sri Vidya are still practiced at the ashram. Though the thrust of the ashram is not dogmatic religion or ritualistic religious worship.
Simple vegetarian meals are served 4 times a day.
Dormitory style accommodation without attached bathrooms.
Separate living quarters for ladies & gents. Sleeping is on thin foam mats.

The Amby Valley is 10 kms away from the ashram.
Trains, ST buses & private luxury buses are available from Pune & Mumbai to reach Lonavla. Thereafter, there are ST buses to Bhamburde at 11.30 am & 4 pm. These can take one to Telbaila village. Get off at Telbaila phata & walk 1 km inside.
